HT is No 1 choice in Delhi-NCR again

Your newspaper has been named the No. 1 English language daily in Delhi for the 11th time in a row, according to the latest round (Q3, 2012) of the Indian Readership Survey (IRS) released by the Media Research Users' Council on Tuesday.
With a daily readership (average issue readership, or AIR) of 21.99 lakh in Delhi-NCR, HT now has a lead of 80,000 readers over its closest competitor, The Times of India (TOI).
HT also reestablished itself as the first-choice newspaper among the more educated and affluent households of Delhi NCR, with a 2.15-lakh lead over TOI among SEC A - a lead which has jumped by over 25% in just the last one year.While numbers alone are not necessarily the best measure of a truly good newspaper, we believe that our success in Delhi-NCR is a reflection of the faith you place in our brand of journalism.

In Mumbai, HT has crossed the 8-lakh-reader mark and remains the clear No. 2 English daily with an AIR of 8.01 lakh, ahead of DNA and Mumbai Mirror.
It has continued its journey on the growth trajectory, adding 50,000 readers in the last one year.
With this round, HT has maintained its strong position as the No. 2 English broadsheet of Mumbai for the ninth time in a row.
HT has also emerged as the fastest growing English daily among the premium audience of SEC A readers, adding 83,000 readers in the last one year.
Mint, HT Media's business daily, continues to hold its No. 2 position nationally, with 2.26 lakh daily readers.
Hindustan, the group's Hindi daily, continued to grow, consolidating its No. 2 position among all newspapers in India with a total readership (TR) of 3.90 crore.
