HT journalists manhandled

Two Hindustan Times journalists, who were covering the inaugural function of the Central Secretariat-Huda City Centre stretch on Friday, were manhandled by a DMRC worker for taking photographs inside the coach. HT reports.
Two Hindustan Times journalists, who were covering the inaugural function of the Central Secretariat-Huda City Centre stretch on Friday, were manhandled by a DMRC worker for taking photographs inside the coach. The duo had permission to take photos till 5 p.m. Daya Shankar held the two by their collar for interviewing commuters and attempted to push them out of the train at Qutub Minar. DMRC officials later said: "The control room was informed about the incident and Daya Shankar has been called by the deputy general manager (Operations). Appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against the guilty."
