Three dead bodies were found in different areas of the Capital in the last 24 hours. A 19-year-old youth, whose head had been smashed with a stone, was found in east Delhi on Tuesday morning.

Police said the youth, Manoj Kumar, got into a fight with some people and was found near a petrol pump in Chilla Village, Mayur Vihar Phase-III.

According to police, Kumar got into a fight with a few people in his locality in Dallupura area of east Delhi.

Police said that a PCR van was informed and after that, the two parties were asked to go to the local police station for mediation. Police said Kumar went to the station with his elder brother, Satish.

There, they apparently reached a compromise and the two parties went their separate ways. Police said Manoj then went out of his house on Monday night.

At 7 am on Tuesday, a bystander found his body.

The police have registered a case of murder and rounded up some people for questioning.

In another case, a 22-year-old businessman was found dead on Tuesday morning from near an MCD school in G-Block, Sultanpuri, in north-west Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Gaurav.

Police said Gaurav lived with his elder brother Suraj, who claimed he had not come back home since Tuesday night.

Investigators said the motive for the murder was unclear. Prima facie, police say the man was strangulated.

Meanwhile, the dead body found in a sack, in Ranhola area of west Delhi on Monday, has still not been identified.

The body has been kept at a local morgue for the last 72 hours.
