Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has said that information on foreign bank accounts of Indians will be released by next year. Assange also warned India saying country's sensitive information were being intercepted by the West.

Speaking at the Hindustan Times Leadership Summit in New Delhi on Saturday, Assange said that he had proofs that the Chinese intelligence had been sucking out information from CBI emails. He also said that the Western nations are intercepting India's phone communications and email. Assange urged India to develop a secure communication system.

Assange said that anti-terror moves were being misused for economic intelligence by giant companies. He further said that Islamic terror was being used as a cover for unlawful interceptions.

Assange also praised the Indian democracy. He praised the RTI act saying it reflects Indian values.
