Kejriwal asks L-G to probe BR Ambedkar Hospital inauguration
Arvind Kejriwal said the PM will never make Najeeb Jung the vice president despite all the “illegal, anti-people and unconstitutional things you might do on Modi ji’s instructions”.delhi Updated: Jun 14, 2016 10:42 IST
Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal wrote to lieutenant governor Najeeb Jung on Monday alleging interference by him and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi’s day-to-day working.
Offering a “small suggestion” as L-G’s “younger borther”, Kejriwal said that the PM will never make Jung the vice president despite all the “illegal, anti-people and unconstitutional things you might do on Modi ji’s instructions”.
In the letter, written in a sarcastic tone, Kejriwal has asked Jung to direct the Anti-Corruption Branch (ACB) to file an FIR against Delhi government officials after the inauguration of the 100-bed Bhim Rao Ambedkar Hospital in Delhi on Sunday.

In response to queries about Kejriwal’s charges, the L-G said, “I feel sorry for his paranoia.”
Kejriwal says, “These days, you and Modi sahab get every little project of the Delhi government scrutinised by the ACB and CBI, irrespective of whether there are irregularities or not. The Delhi government on Sunday inaugurated a 100-bed hospital in the memory of Baba Sahab Ambedkar ji. I request you to ask your ACB team to lodge an FIR and enquire into the matter. Please also ask PM Narendra Modi ji to order a CBI raid at health minister Satyendra Jain’s place for the crime of completing the construction of the hospital in record time.”
Kejriwal further stated that there were a few people who serve the mankind, “struggle and construct” while others are tasked with destructing and putting spanners on every good work. “You and Modiji, perform your duty.”
Jung and Kejriwal have been at loggerheads with each other since the latter assumed office last year. Kejriwal has, on several occasions, accused Jung of interfering in and impeding the Delhi government’s work on the instruction of the central government.
The letter goes on to say that the Delhi government is fulfilling its responsibilities and the L-G and PM are only creating roadblocks in its way.
