Bedi visits her constituency everyday and meet the locals before setting out to seek votes for other party candidates. She has promised to work for auto drivers as her constituency had a sizeable number of them.

“She has been coming here for almost two weeks and meeting locals as well as workers. A day earlier, her office was attacked and she got very emotional. She has said that she will work for locals. Today, she broke down while travelling in an open jeep,” said a BJP leader.

On the last day of the campaign season, however, the BJP will put in all efforts as over 100 MPs and a dozen cabinet ministers will address public rallies along with 70 candidates on Thursday.

BJP’s Laxmi Nagar BB Tyagi, who is contesting from Laxmi Nagar, said that he would conduct roadshows. “Under the leadership of Modiji and Bediji, we will form a government. Bediji’s experience will help us,” said Tyagi.

Other candidates will take the help of MPs - Manoj Tiwari, Udit Raj, Satpal Maharaj among others. Former AAP leader Shazia Ilmi will also assist few candidates in campaigning.

Campaigning will come to end at 5 pm on Thursday and after that role of local workers will become crucial as they will visit every household.
