KR Mangalam hosts Aussie delegation

K.R. Mangalam World School, Greater Kailash hosted a delegation of six students and a teacher from Woodleigh School, Australia as a part of the Education Exchange programme.

K.R. Mangalam World School, Greater Kailash hosted a delegation of six students and a teacher from Woodleigh School, Australia as a part of the Education Exchange programme.

The host school organised a function to bid farewell to them. In her address, Principal, Jyoti Gupta emphasised the significance of such education exchange programmes to empower the expansion of one’s boundaries.

Kelly Raj, Education Counsellor at Australian High Commission, Peter Nolon, First Secretary Education and Anu Jain, Advisor AEI graced the occasion as Chief Guests. The event included a power-point presentation and various dance performances.

Bluebells School International, Kailash celebrated the 52nd International Friendship Sports Meet. The Chief Guest for the Sports Meet was Kojiro Uchiyama, Director, Japan Information Centre.

There were participants from the Embassy schools of Iraq and Russia. The Sports Meet commenced with the March Past by the six houses and the duty Prefects. The various displays by the students were a spectacle of colour and zest. The Finale was a grand spectacle with over a thousand students cheering as the Dove of Peace soared high in the sky.

The Primary Wing of Lotus Valley International School, Noida celebrated its 6th Annual Day. Lt.Gen.Rajender Singh (Retd.), PVSM, SM, VSM, Former Director Gen. Infantry and presently the CEO of DLF Foundation presided as Chief Guest.

Hillwoods Academy, Preet Vihar organised an inter-school Youth Parliament. The Mock Parliament of students had seen the participation of both the ruling and the opposition parties at the right and left side respectively.

It saw the appropriate presentation and exploration of views of the future Youth Leaders for the welfare of the country which also included the strategies to work towards Dream India, that will stand high in the world.

Chief Guest, Najma Heptullah, Former Deputy Chairperson, Rajya Sabha addressed the students and appreciated the efforts made by them.
