The committee has Chief Executive Officer B.S Lalli and his detractors A.K Jain, member Finance and V.Shivakumar, member personnel.
“The majority decision of the committee would be final the board has decided,” said a member, who unwilling to be named.
The move aimed at curtailing Lalli’s powers was allegedly approved by the Information and Broadcasting ministry.
The committee has been constituted on the directions of Delhi High Court following a Public Interest Litigation accusing Lalli of running the board in an improper manner.
Meanwhile, B.S Lalli on Tuesday moved the Supreme Court challenging the Delhi High Court interim ruling that ordered a inquiry into alleged financial irregularities in Prasar Bharati Corporation and appointed a former judge to supervise board meetings. However, the apex court refused to stay the order.
