If you are fascinated with the art of filmmaking and are keen to pursue it as well, there are a number of workshops in the city that offer quick courses in the particular field. The duration of the courses range from a week to one month. We bring to you five filmmaking workshops that are being organised in the Capital in the next 20 days, which can provide you with all the qualities of becoming a director.
An acting and film training institute, Mark 5 is organising a filmmaking workshop for cinema enthusiasts in the city. In this workshop, the trainers claim to take filmmaking out of the classroom to more refreshing locations where participants will be given a hands-on experience and knowledge of working on a film. Film Appreciation: Richard Allen Workshop
If you want to attain some in-depth knowledge of filmmaking, then attend this workshop, which will be taken by Richard Allen, Chairman of the Department of Cinema Studies, NYU.

Intense Filmmaking Workshop
While most filmmaking classes are for adults, this one is for children up to 16 years of age. The workshop is being organised by a production company called Dreaming Child Productions (DCP). This will take place next month. “This workshop will help children in exploring their talent, gaining exposure, and creating their own short films,” says Mahima Kaur, Director of DCP. Exposure trips across NCR and seminar by professionals in the field are the main highlights of this workshop.

RK Films and Media Academy
This academy is coming up with a workshop on filmmaking, which will begin next month. “We usually conduct workshops thrice a year after receiving enough registrations. This year, workshops are divided into four different modules, with each module being one week long,” says NC Bansal, Founder-CEO of RKFMA.

Foundation in Film Making
The Delhi School of Photography (DSP) is conducting this basic workshop on filmmaking. There will be eight sessions. “We’ll provide introduction to techniques of filmmaking,” says Sandeep Biswas of DSP.
