It's the solidarity which matters more than anything for the 600-odd activists of Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Aandolan (BVJA) from Maharashtra's Ahmednagar district, who have been camping in the Capital for the past four days to support Anna Hazare.

It was the call by Anna for his movement against corruption which forced them to leave their homes and jobs and join the protest. Dressed in their symbolic attire with a white Nehru cap on their head, these crusaders are funding everything, travelling, food and lodging, on their own. "We reached here (Delhi) on Sunday and have been living in private guest houses in Green Park. Everyone is bearing their expenses on their own," Appa Saheb Gunjal, a worker in a sugar factory in Kopargaon town, said.

Not even worried by the troubles they are facing in travelling and accommodating in a new city, the activists of BVJA spent their entire day shouting slogans against the government and singing their traditional songs outside the Tihar jail.

"We have been with Anna in all his movements started against the government. We all know what Anna is capable of doing," said Ashok Sabbana, vice-president of BVJA.
