Man accused in gangrape of girl arrested
The Panchkula Police have arrested the last accused who was allegedly involved in the gang rape of 17-year-old Delhi girl. Kartik, a resident of Malviya Nagar, Delhi, has been sent in a three-day police remand on Friday.

He had sold the girl to Virender Khanna, who further sold the girl to Rakesh Dahiya.
The victim was a student of Class XI in Delhi and was brought here on the pretext of getting admission into an institute for air hostess training. Rakesh had claimed before her that he would give her admission into his institute for air hostess training in Sector 34, Chandigarh.
Rakesh and the victim had reached GH 79, a housing society in Sector 20 here, on August 22, 2011. In the evening they left for Shimla along with three others. During their stay in a hotel in Shimla, she was allegedly gang raped by Dinesh and Gandhi. The victim was brought back on August 23, 2011.
