The maximum dropped to 21.7 degree Celsius, one degree below normal, from yesterday's 22.7 degrees while the minimum was recorded at 6.8 degrees as against 7.5 degrees the previous day. The morning hours saw thin fog in most parts of the city. The Met office has predicted shallow fog in the morning and mainly clear sky during the day on Wednesday with a maximum and minimum of 22 and 7 degrees respectively.

According to statistics provided by weather office, the average minimum temperature in Delhi for December is 8.2 degree C and the maximum is 23 degree C.
