A Gurgaon mall once again witnessed a brawl on Saturday night. The incident comes two months after a group of youths attacked two pilots and their businessman friend and misbehaved with their wives at a mall in Gurgaon.

A group about 25 youths, reportedly drunk and armed with iron rods and sticks, stormed into a restro-bar at Sahara Mall on MG Road. Earlier, three customers dining at the restro-bar were told to leave for alleged misbehaviour with a foreigner. The three reportedly came back with the group and clashed with the bouncers and the policemen.

The owner of Last Chance has not filed any complaint with the police. The youths — Sidharth, Manoj and Manoj Kumar — who reportedly clashed with the bouncers and created a ruckus at the bar have lodged a criminal case against the NRI and his bouncers for beating them.

“A criminal case has been registered against the bar owner and two bouncers of the restro-bar. We would also take statements of the bouncers,” ACP (West) Sumit Kuhar said.

Sidharth claimed innocence and said he and his friends were doing nothing objectionable in the bar when the staffers asked them to leave the premises.

“We did not tease any girl. As we simply objected to being asked to leave the bar, we were attacked by the bouncers,” he said.

Manoj (28) received severe injuries in the head and was rushed to Uma Sanjeevani Hospital in DLF City-II. Sattay, a bouncer of Odyssey restro-bar, who came to the help the Last Chance bouncers, continues to be in unconscious and is admitted in a private nursing home in Chattarpur.

Dr. Deepak Kumar, a neurosurgeon at Uma Sanjeevani, said the condition of Manoj was critical.
