Two cyclists were killed after a speeding minibus ran over them in west Delhi on Thursday, police said.

According to police, Arvind Kumar (28) and Captan Singh (22), who used to work for a local gas cylinder distribution company, were on their way to work on a bicycle when the speeding vehicle hit their bicycle from behind around 9 am in Vikaspuri.

The driver fled and and angry locals who had gathered at the accident spot turned violent. Seven vehicles, including three DTC buses, were reportedly damaged.
