Metro today is a symbol of the global city that Delhi is emerging into and symbolises growth and empowerment for the city and its residents. Continuing the legacy of its fantastic project management history the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is all set to add another 6.36 Kms to its network in North Delhi on its existing line 2. The extension is all set to bring North Delhi closer to the heart of the city. It is estimated that this line will ferry over 1.51 lakh commuters by 2011, taking the Metro forward on its path of serving the city.
