Want to know about last metro train from a particular metro station or register a complaint against the Metro operations?
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has come up with a new helpline number, which will provide better and improved customer care services, according to the DMRC officials.
The new 24-hour helpline number - 011-155363 - will replace the existing number - 128128 - from January 1.
"Though the existing helpline number (128128) has also be come quite popular with the commuters, we were getting complaints that the number does not connect with certain GSM and CDMA mobile phones," a Delhi Metro spokesperson said.
He said the previous number will become non-functional from the day the new number is operational. With the new helpline number, DMRC promises to provide easy access and speedy solutions to public queries and complaints.
"The officials concerned will be immediately informed about a complaint to ensure a quick solution," he added.
Mobile users and even callers residing outside Delhi can avail the service by calling 011-155363. The new number has been provided with caller ID and recording facility. However, the calls made on this service are not toll free. According to DMRC, the new helpline service will help the physically challenged commuters as they can call this number in advance and seek assistance from the Metro staff to provide wheelchair facility to old and physically challenged commuters in all the Metro station.
