The National Investigation Agency today filed chargesheet against 8 people accused in the Goa blast case. The accused are members of the right-wing Hindu organisation Sanatan Sanstha. The chargesheet was filed against four arrested and the four who have been absconding.
Right-wing group Sanatan Sanstha is allegedly close to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
Police had earlier registered a case against two suspects -- Malgonda Patil and Yogesh Naik --- who had died after being injured in the blast. They were booked under sections of the Unlawful Activities Prevention Act and the Indian Penal Code for waging war against the nation.
Malgonda Patil was a member of the Sanatan Sanstha, while Patil had spent two years in the organisation's Goa ashram.
