No relations with a killer, says family
In his childhood the name Bunty may have been music to their ears, but a grown up Bunty was nothing but a nuisance to them.

Sick and tired of police interrogations, in February this year the family members of the gangster finally disowned him.
Bunty’s father Babulal, who is a gardener, pasted a notice on the gate of their house which stated that they have “no relation with Om Prakash alias Bunty”. The family lives in E Block, Sangam Vihar.
“I have no connection with him and he is dead now,” the father said.
The lane in Sangam Vihar where they live was tense on Monday. The neighbours shut themselves inside their houses and generally kept mum. One of them, on condition of anonymity, said, “I saw him visit the house in July last.”
Bunty’s house was filled with relatives. One of his uncles works with the Delhi Police and another one is a lawyer by profession. His paternal aunt who came to visit the family on Monday said, “We have no relation with a killer.”
