Delhiites spent yet another hot and humid day on Saturday with no rains to escape the prevailing weather conditions.

While the maximum temperature on Saturday settled at 35.6 degrees – two degrees above normal – the minimum temperature remained at 25 degrees. The Met department said this is likely to continue for the next few days till the city again receives light showers.

"Saturday's maximum and minimum temperature was two degrees above normal and this is likely to continue for the next two days," said a Met department official.

But the Met department said the city may also witness some overcast skies with temperatures dropping by a couple of degrees, with the maximum temperature likely between 33-35 degrees celsius and the minimum temperature hovering between 24-28 degrees.

"For the next few days, the sky will remain overcast and there will be light showers and the temperature may come down by a degree," the official added.
