As if rising prices of essential commodities was not enough, residents have been facing a great deal of inconvenience due to traffic diversions following the construction of a flyover and underpass at Sector 37 and Rajni Gandha Crossing.

Superintendent of Police (Traffic) Ajay Sahdev, said, "Alternate route plans have been released for motorists so that they do not have to cross Sector 37 and Rajni Gandha Crossing. We are also monitoring and reviewing the traffic plan every day in view of the traffic snarls witnessed at various stretches."

"To check traffic jams at diversion routes, the stretch has been declared tow-away zone. Crane has been stationed nearby to lift any vehicle found parked on Atta to Naya Bans stretch and Naya Bans to Sector 27 stretch via sector 2, 3, and 27,” said Sahdev.

“Transporter's vehicles and sales tax department vehicles, which were causing traffic snarls, have been directed to move to other place," Sahdev added.

During peak hours, motorists heading from Kalindi Kunj to Ghaziabad face unending traffic snarls near Sector 29 T-Crossing and Sector 31-36 Crossing and Shashi Chowk on the diverted route.
