A PIL was today filed in the Supreme Court seeking a CBI inquiry into alleged corruption in the management of the Commonwealth Games and removal of its Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi.
A PIL was on Friday filed in the Supreme Court seeking a CBI inquiry into alleged corruption in the management of the Commonwealth Games and removal of its Organising Committee Chairman Suresh Kalmadi.
The petition, moved by a lawyer, alleged a "corrupt man" was heading the affairs of the Commonwealth Games and the Centre was reluctant to remove him. Kalmadi has consistently denied the charge against him.
