The Supreme Court will on Monday hear petitions alleging wrongdoings on the part of the telecommunications minister in the allocation of 2G Spectrum in 2008. A bench of justice GS Singhvi and justice AK Ganguly had earlier questioned Raja’s continuance in the Cabinet and pulled up the CBI for tardy probe. The court is seized of two petitions —by Centre for Public Interest Litigation (CPIL) and Janata Party leader Subramanian Swamy.

'No change in team'
Law minister M Veerappa Moily has denied having removed any law officer representing the government and the investigating agencies in the 2G spectrum case. Moily said there will be no change in the legal team representing the the government in the case when it comes up for hearing on Monday and termed as "wrong" the news report which appeared in a daily on Saturday.
