The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has denied media reports that it had summoned the file containing details about the pending dues of team Anna member Arvind Kejriwal from the revenue department.

The PMO has responded to an RTI query by activist Subhash Chandra Agrawal, who had asked whether media reports in this regard were correct.

Agrawal had asked the PMO to confirm whether "it was true that the PMO ever sought reports from the revenue department about the alleged dues of around Rs 9.27 lakh towards the pending resignation of Arvind Kejriwal from the Indian Revenue Services?"

In its reply to the detailed questionnaire, the PMO replied: "No such record is available."

On other queries about file notings on the issue and whether the PMO was aware about breach of privilege notices served to team Anna members by both houses of parliament, the PMO transferred such queries to the concerned departments.
