Police yet to register report in JNU sex scandal

A day after an objectionable video clip showing two Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) students in a compromising situation came to light, Delhi Police were yet to register a complaint on Tuesday.

According to DCP (South) HGS Dhaliwal, police are awaiting confirmation from the university which has launched an internal probe in the matter.

"The girl and her friend were intimately involved. Another boy allegedly shot the video. JNU is yet to verify this," Dhaliwal said.

The JNU administration came to know about the video clip last week when the security department of the university submitted it to the proctor's office.

According to JNU, the boy and girl are students of School of Languages, while the boy who allegedly shot the video is a student of computer applications.
