President Pratibha Patil today sent greetings of “prosperity and happiness” to the nation on the occasion of Onam - Kerala's harvest festival.
President Pratibha Patil on Sunday sent greetings of “prosperity and happiness” to the nation on the occasion of Onam - Kerala's harvest festival.
“On the joyous occasion of Onam, I offer my heartiest greetings to all my fellow citizens and especially to the people of Kerala and wish them all prosperity and happiness. May this festival bring to all of them, the blessings of peace and harmony,” Patil said in a release from the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

The festival, which marks the homecoming of Kerala's mythological king Mahabali, will be celebrated on Monday.
