Mayoor School, Noida, held a prize distribution ceremony to felicitate the outstanding achievers in academics and in other fields like dance, music, art and craft. The programme began with the lighting of the lamp followed by Saraswati Vandana. Principal Sarita Madhok addressed the parents. The budding musicians of Mayoor performed a scintillating jugal bandi.
Prizes for all sections of Class IV and V were announced, interspersed with events such as an elocution on ‘Anything is possible’, a vibrant bird dance, a Hindi song dedicated to parents, discussion on Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation. Students were encouraged to explore a wide range of physical fitness activities like drills, dance, stress reduction techniques such as yoga and deep breathing.
