NCP President and former union minister Sharad Pawar on Sunday said while experience should be respected, youth too should be given an opportunity.

"It is good to respect experience. It matters. However, we should also give appropriate opportunity to capable youths too," he said addressing a rally held to campaign for NCP candidate Chatrapati Sambhaji Raje.

Pawar addressed three public meetings in Kolhapur Lok Sabha constituency on Sunday. However, the meet in Mudhaltitha was disrupted following heaving rains. The other two rallies were held at Aajara and Peth Vadgaon.
