Two were admitted in the intensive care unit of Kailash Hospital. Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Saneel Kapoor said: “Two students, Rocky and Gautam, are still in the ICU with scalp injuries. Three others have been admitted with fractures. 12 injured students had come to the emergency ward. All were in the age group of 7 to 9 years,” said Kapoor.

Rishipal Bhatti, the father of one of the injured students Harsh Bhatti, said the bus was overloaded with 70 to 80 children. “The driver drives at high speed. We had complained to the school in the past, but they ignored our complaint,” he said.

The school’s principal Ajit Singh said he has lodged an FIR, while the owner said that it was an accident and they would bear all the expenses.
