Schoolgirl beaten unconscious

A Class 7 student of Sarvodaya Kanya Vidyalaya was reportedly beaten unconscious by her principal for spitting on the wall. The father of the girl has filed a complaint with the Jamia police station and a case has been registered.
“She was coming out of the school on Thursday when the principal stopped her and beat her for spitting on the wall. My daughter fell unconscious,” said Yusuf Jamal, father of the girl.
Jamal claimed that the principal didn’t inform them and the girl narrated the incident when her mother went to pick her up.
“The principal called and asked her mother to pick her up from the school. While returning, the girl narrated the incident and my wife called me. I called up the PCR and she was taken to AIIMS for medical examination,” Jamal added.
Police said they have taken the statement of the victim and verifying the facts.
