Six unidentified men assaulted a trader in front of his house in east Delhi's Kabir Nagar and robbed the trader of Rs 9.5 lakh.

On Tuesday night, 54-year-old Pushpender Gupta was parking his car in front of his house, near Welcome Metro station when six men on three motorcycles came and assaulted him. The attackers also fired in the air before taking away the money kept in a bag on the car's backseat.

The police said a case was registered against unnamed persons. "However, there has been no arrest," a police officer said.
