Son killed by staff at Ryan International School or senior student, says father

A Class 2 student of Ryan International school, Bhondsi, in Gurgaon was found on campus in a pool of blood with his throat slit on Friday morning.

The father of an eight-year-old boy who was found murdered in the toilet of his Gurgaon school on Friday morning has alleged that the boy was killed either by a staff member or a senior student.

The Class 2 student of Ryan International School was found in a pool of blood with his throat slit and injury marks on his body in the school toilet, police said. They claimed a knife was found near the boy’s body. A murder case has been filed under section 302 at Bhondsi police station.

The father, who works as a quality manager in a Gurgaon-based company, said the “murder took place inside the school premises”. The boy’s 11-year-old sister also studies in the same school.

“I got the information from my wife when I returned from the school at 8.10 am that our son had suffered injuries,” he said, speaking to the media outside the city police station adjacent to the mortuary.
