Senior DMK leader MK Stalin on Tuesday met his sister Kanimozhi, arrested in the 2G spectrum case, at a trial court in New Delhi and spent nearly 40 minutes with her.

Stalin, accompanied by DMK parliamentary party leader TR Baalu and other senior leaders came to the patiala house court complex at 10 am and waited for half-an-hour for Kanimozhi to come to the court room.

Stalin chatted with Kanimozhi and former telecom minister A Raja for over 40 minutes and asked them about the facilities in the Tihar Jail where they are lodged.

Kanimozhi and Raja enquired about the health of M Karunanidhi from Stalin. Seated between Kanimozhi and Raja, Stalin asked them how they were coping with the condition in the jail. Kanimozhi also asked Stalin about the well-being of her family members in Chennai.

Karunanidhi had met his daughter at the Tihar Jail on Monday and spent nearly an hour with her.
