Students of class 10 are a relaxed lot, this year. With the board examinations out of their minds, they are a calmer and more confident lot. But the second summative assessment is still on their minds, with grades being the parameter for judging their performance.

Students of class 10 are a relaxed lot, this year. With the board examinations out of their minds, they are a calmer and more confident lot. But the second summative assessment is still on their minds, with grades being the parameter for judging their performance.

On the advice of the Central Board of Secondary Education, schools have decided to conduct examinations after March 15. "There is no real panic. I am not that worried," said Shikha Saikumar, a student of Tagore International School.

"Students have participated through the year. They have already been through one assessment and are confident. They have adjusted to the change easily," said Usha Ram, principal, Laxman Public School.
