Students not ready to forgo board exposure

After introduction of continuous and comprehensive evaluation (CCE) system in Classes 9 and 10, students in most schools of Delhi and NCR have opted for internal exams, conducted by their respective schools.
But then there are students like Chatterjee, Chatterjee, who did not want to miss out on the ‘Board experience’.
"Board exams teach students time management skills," said Sudhakar Mishra, a Sanskrit teacher at Delhi Public School, Greater Noida.
"At this point, students should go through the entire syllabus carefully. They should also focus on preparing topics carrying more weightage carefully."
The school has six students, who will take the Class 10 Board exams, due to start next month.
"I want to take the Boards, as they will expose me to external examiners, whom I do not know and vice-versa. This factor has been motivating me to work even harder for the Board examinations," said Chatterjee.
