The Faridabad police on Friday arrested three juveniles for allegedly having gang raped a 15-year-old girl in a moving car.

The police registered the case after the victim’s parents lodged a complaint that three youth had forcibly bundled the girl in their vehicle in SGM Nagar and had gang raped her on the evening of August 3.

The victim, a class 9 student, was abducted when she was on her way to a coaching class. The accused took her to a secluded area near Surajkund and allegedly gang raped her.

Later in the evening, the trio dropped her off on Surajkund Road after threatening her with dire consequences.

However, when the victim reached home, she told her parents about the incident, who in turn lodged a police complaint.

“We swung into action and arrested the three accused,” said Narinder Rao, Station House Officer, SGM Nagar police station, adding, “all three are students”. Police said medical report confirmed rape. htc
