In preparation for the upcoming Commonwealth Games, Faridabad traffic police will conduct traffic rehearsal in Surajkund area, where many visitors are expected during the Games, on Sunday.

Last Sunday, too, a similar restriction on traffic movement was imposed.

"We have decided to conduct a traffic trial once again this Sunday between 10 a.m. and 12 noon," said Raj Kumar, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic), Faridabad.

Last Sunday, the traffic rehearsal began at 11 a.m. and ended an hour later when traffic was stopped towards Shooting Range Road. Being a Sunday, there was not much movement of vehicles on the road.

The traffic police said on Sunday the traffic will be diverted to National Highway number 2 for an hour.

"We chose Sunday as we don't want to put people into trouble by imposing traffic restrictions on a working day," said Anil Kumar Rao, Joint Commissioner of Police, Faridabad.
