Two carjackings in just four hours

IN SEPARATE incidents, carjackers pulled out cab drivers out of their cars on the DND flyover and in Dwarka thrashed them and made away with their vehicles early on Wednesday, police said. No one has been arrested yet.
In Dwarka, around 4.20 a.m., driver Parvesh Barnala, working for a travel company, was beaten up and dumped before the carjackers drove away with his Indica, said a senior police officer. The incident occurred near Dwarka’s fire brigade office, police said.
The other incident took place four hours earlier on DND flyover around 12.30 a.m, when a Noida call centre cab driver Raj Kishore was attacked by four men who asked him for a ride in his Tata Sumo. The men then dumped him on the flyover and took off with the vehicle.
