Two girls were allegedly raped in two different incidents in the Capital on Monday.

An 18-year-old girl was raped by her neighbour in a car in outer Delhi's Sultanpuri area. After raping the girl, the accused dumped her on the roadside and a couple, who saw her crying, informed the police.

"The accused, identified as Deepak, saw the victim walking towards her house on Friday evening. He offered her a lift which she accepted. But instead of dropping her, he took her to an isolated place in Avantika and raped her," a police officer said.

After raping the girl, Deepak dumped her in Sultanpuri and threatened her. Deepak, who works as a driver at a house in Rohini Sector 7 was arrested.

In another incident a 19-year-old girl from Jharkhand, who was looking for a job in the city, was gangraped by two men.

"Following the complaint filed by the girl, we have arrested Satram, his wife and Madan Lal. It was Madan Lal and his friends who raped the girl, while Satram and his wife were arrested for concealing the facts," a senior police officer said.
