Under attack from the opposition during Thursday's Assembly session, Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit said her government is preparing a response to the Shunglu Committee report.
Following the report by the PM-appointed panel that has allegedly indicted Dikshit and Delhi Lt. Governor Tejender Khanna among several other officials for delays and losses in as number of Commonwealth Games projects, the Delhi assembly was adjourned for 30 minutes on Friday.
"A report will be sent to the Prime Minister and the Union Cabinet Secretary," the chief minister said.
Earlier in the day Dikshit had said she had not seen the report and would comment on it only after studying it.
The BJP has demanded Dikshit's resignation, saying she has no moral authority to continue in office after the committee's indictment.
The Shunglu Committee was appointed by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in October last year, just after the completion of the mega sports event, to probe allegations of corruption, misappropriation of funds, irregularities and weaknesses in management of the Games.
As soon as the session began on Friday BJP MLAs asked the chief minister to respond to the report and table it in the Assembly.
