The Delhi Police have arrested a woman who had allegedly kidnapped a two-year-old kid near Bhalaswa Dairy in northwest Delhi on Saturday evening. According to police, the locals caught her red-handed when she was fleeing with the child. The locals have alleged that the woman has kidnapped six kids from the area and killed them for religious purposes.

“We are looking into the allegation. We have searched her house but haven’t found anything suspicious. She will be produced before the court soon,” said a senior police officer. The woman identified as Sheila was living in a rented flat in the area along with her two children.

“We have recovered religious material from his house but that doesn’t suggest she was involved in kidnapping and killing minors. We are checking to see if any minor went from the area,” the officer added. A case has been registered at the local police station.

“Around 10 pm we saw the woman running away with a child. We chased her but she threw the child in mud and tried to ran away. She has handed over to the police. We suspect that she kidnapped kids and killed them,” said Gaurav a resident of the area.
