Girl kidnapped from Hindu Rao Hospital, rescued
NEW DELHI: A six-month-old girl was kidnapped by an unknown woman from Hindu Rao Hospital on Saturday morning. Eight hours later, she was found lying on an e-rickshaw in north Delhi’s Model Town.
Police registered a case of kidnapping and are looking for the unidentified woman who kidnapped her. The footage of CCTV cameras installed around the hospital and the area where the baby was found are being analysed to establish the identity of the kidnapper.
The baby girl, identified as Afifa, had gone to the hospital with her mother. The mother told police that she had come to the hospital to give blood sample of her older daughter.
