Fifty-six-year-old Kailash Devi became the 10th person to have died of H1N1 in the Capital on Saturday, taking the total number of deaths in Delhi-NCR to 15.

Devi, a resident of Mahavir Enclave in northwest Delhi, was admitted to Bhagwan Mahavir Hospital with flue-like symptoms on September 14.

A day later, she was diagnosed with H1N1 and was put on ventilator after two days as her condition worsened.

"She succumbed to the virus on Saturday," said Dr Anjan Prakash, additional nodal officer for H1N1 in the capital.
