A 20-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his co-worker in the capital after a fight between them, police said today.
The incident took place in Aman Vihar last night and the deceased has been identified as Sonu Gupta, who worked in a shoe factory.
Sonu had a fight with one of his co-workers, Akash (22), last night and the former allegedly hit him with a stone.
Late in the night, a senior police official said, Akash came to Sonu's residence and asked for him. Sonu's family told him that he was not there.
However, Sonu was found dead with stab wounds near a bus stop in Inder Enclave this morning.
Akash is absconding.
"We suspect the involvement of Akash. Personal enmity is believed to be the reason behind the incident," the official said.
Police recovered two letters written by the victim's father detailing about some family problems and couplets written in a piece of paper from his body, the official said.
