Manish Kumar, 31, has been involved in 15 cases of snatching and was released from jail, Sonu Choudhary and Neeraj Arora were arrested from Nangloi in the national capital yesterday.

A senior police official said secret sources were deployed to collect information about the criminals involved in chain snatching and auto theft and an input was received that Manish gang is actively committing chain snatchings on stolen motorcycles.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team waylaid a car in which they were travelling at Nangloi and asked them several questions.

"None of them could tell about the ownership of the car. On further interrogation, they disclosed about commission of chains/bags snatchings. Three snatched mobile phones were recovered from the car," V Renganathan, additional commissioner of police, West district, said.
