The outer district police have arrested three persons for allegedly committing dacoity in the jhuggies located on the bank of Yamuna in Alipur.
The accused - Dharmender Kashyap, Ram Kumar and Dabloo - all residents of Ballia district in Uttar Pradesh, were apprehended on Sunday.
Five mobile phones, Rs 27,000, seven batteries and other stolen articles have been recovered from them.
The three were arrested after a police complaint was registered against them.

They allegedly fled with one 19-inch colour TV, Rs 21,000 in cash and eight mobiles phones.
DCP (outer) BS Jaiswal said the accused were arrested from Loni village.
"They have confessed to the crime. They said they earned their livelihood by catching fish from the river. They obtained the license from the government of NCT of Delhi, but as their earnings were meagre, they decided to rob people," said Jaiswal, adding that their associates Dinesh, Pardeep, Kamlesh, Partu and Kala were still at large.
