Two days after HT reported a road rage incident in which the additional chief metropolitan magistrate of Delhi’s south district was abused and slapped by a businessman, three more judges became victims of a road rage case in south Delhi’s Dakshinpuri area on Thursday.

The judges and driver of the Maruti Esteem car they were traveling in were attacked with bricks and stones by four men on two motorcycles. They were attacked after a minor accident involving the car and one of the motorbikes, the police said.

Ajay Garg, metropolitan magistrate, MK Nagpal, additional sessions judge and Inderjeet Singh, additional district judge — all from the Saket court — were going towards Faridabad when they were attacked.

The attackers fled, leaving one of the bikes behind. The judges and driver were rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre. Sources said one of the attackers, Anil, was also injured and is being treated at the hospital. Three men, including Anil, were detained by the police.
