Two teenagers and a four-year-old girl were raped in three separate incidents reported from different parts of the Capital till Sunday, the police said.
In the first incident, reported from west Delhi's Uttam Nagar, a 15-year-old Mumbai resident visiting her elder sister was allegedly sexually assaulted by the latter's neighbour.
“The victim has been visiting her sister for several years at her Mohan Garden residence. She had been befriended by the accused during those trips,” said a senior police officer.
According to police, the accused, who is also a minor, allegedly forced himself on the victim on May 19 when he found her alone at home. He has been apprehended and sent to a juvenile correctional facility.
In a similar case, a four-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy in west Delhi's Ranhola area. The minor had allegedly lured the victim to his adjacent residence.
“She informed her parents about the incident when she returned home. The accused, who is a juvenile, was apprehended after the victim's medical examination confirmed sexual assault,” said an officer.
A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl for months in central Delhi's Patel Nagar.
The accused identified as Sagar Sehgal allegedly met the victim through a common friend in January.
“They met sometime in February. The victim said Sagar formed a relationship with her on the pretext of marrying her,” added the officer.
“The victim's medical examination confirmed sexual assault. Sehgal has been arrested,” the officer said.
