Two tantriks accused of killing five persons of a family in Yamuna Nagar have been arrested.
Two tantriks accused of killing five persons of a family in Yamuna Nagar have been arrested.
The duo had been living in the area for the last one year. They were regular visitors to the deceased family.
A two-year-old baby is the only surviving member of the family.
The deceased include Satpal, 47, who was working at a rubber factory as contractor, wife Veena, 45, son Mukesh, 25, Mukesh’s wife Suman, 23, and his brother Rinku, 23.
Police said both the accused Pankaj Jogi and Guddu are from Saharanpur and Bagpat district in UP respectively.
On Friday night, the duo went to the victims’ house, where they made kheer laced with poison and fed the family.
They killed the victims after they became unconscious.
They fled with cash and other valuables worth lakhs of rupees. The duo will be produced in court on Monday.
Police said both the accused killed the entire family so that no witness remains.
