On Sunday, Rashmi (name changed) was waiting at a bus stop to go to her college.
“Two men known to the victim offered her a lift in their Santro car. As she knew them, she got in the car. The accused then took her to an undisclosed location in Gurgaon, where three more men joined them. There they took turns to rape her,” said R.S. Krishnia, additional commissioner of police (southwest).
“She was dropped outside her house by the two accused. She then informed her parents, who lodged a case,” the officer said.
The medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape but there were no apparent injury marks on her body.
Police said they were taking the victim’s help to know the location of the house in Gurgaon where she was allegedly raped. The police have also begun a hunt to locate the Santro car in which the victim was offered lift.
Police said the accused are in the age group of 22-24 years and all of them live in Kapashera.
“The victim only remembers that she was taken to Gurgaon, she does not remember the route or the location of the house. She was dropped outside her house late on Sunday night,” said the officer.
