Eighty-nine people had to shell out Rs 2,000 each on Monday for straying into lanes on roads reserved for Commonwealth Games traffic in New Delhi.
"We challaned 89 people today for deliberately entering the Games lanes in different parts of the city," a senior police official said.

Delhi Police had for the first time challaned 17 people on Sunday for violating the Commonwealth Games lane.
